Student Visa
Students can apply for a student visa only through their university or college. The university or college will act as the visa sponsor.

Students must have received an offer of a place and enrolled at university to study a full time programme and have paid the full tuition fees for their first semester of the programme.

The cost for a student visa is 1500 UAE Dirham (Dh) and refundable deposit of 2000 UAE Dirham (Dh). The visa is valid for three years or for the length of the study period if it is shorter than three years. The visa procedure takes between 1 - 2 weeks to complete.

A student visa does not allow you to work in Dubai. Students must complete their tuition fees payment plans on time as some institutions may terminate the visa. Students whose visas are sponsored by their university or college will have access to medical care give by the Dubai Government.

Other visa information:
Citizens of the Arab Gulf Co-operation Council member states (Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, and Saudi Arabia) do not need a visa to come and study in Dubai. A penalty charge of Dh100 per day is imposed on visitors who overstay.
For nationalities that require a sponsor, airlines may seek confirmation that the sponsor is holding a valid visa for the incoming visitor.

Nationals of 'Israel' may not enter the U.A.E.
